That's one of the reasons we cancelled an ad service we had a couple of years ago!

We had a service that took our keywords, searched eBay and posted random matching auctions here in a banner ad.  It seemed like a great idea, but many of our keywords backfired.  For example, there was Leatherman as seen above, there was Bear, which is a gay term for a hairy man and there was Gerber, which was perhaps the funniest of all because that's a name also shared by a company that makes baby products.  So we had all these gay fetish ads mixed with a healthy smattering of breast pumps and rubber nipples!

Not our finest moment really... :P

That's hilarious. I'm surprised with all the talk about 58mm, 84mm and 91mm there weren't some ads regarding *cough* enlargement :D

A search for 'Leatherman' on US ebay will bring pages of multitools.

If you do the same in the UK you get a page of pouches and bit sets and on the second page you get this  :ahhh
