Benchmade 755 MPR?

Does anyone out there own a benchmade 755 MPR? How is it? Do you like it? I just wanted to know because I am thinking about getting one.

I was at one time thinking seriously of grabbing one of these, but of course a major
consideration was price. I've never spent that kind of money on a knife and wasn't
so sure this one was the one to start.

I did have the chance to handle one and check it out at our local cutlery shop. It's a
nice, skookum looking, unit. As they say built like a tank.
If your thinking of buying one there is lot's out and about on it as you've probably
seen. There also were a fair number of guys who were dissappointed with it's
performance and a few for sale on the used market not all that long after purchase it
seemed.

Built like a brick sh*thouse. Heavy as smurf as well.

Make sure, make sure, make sure you get one of the later production runs of this 755 if you do get one. The first one or two production runs had a nasty habit of opening in your pocket. You don't need a giant pocket knife attempting to carve out your bits while you're walking around.
