Leverage season 4, episode 3
on: October 11, 2011, 10:34:12 PM
In The 15 minutes job, Eliot destroys a screen door and then uses a multitool to fix it:

No idea what brand/model... so the question is: what would Eliot's MT of choice be? :pok:

It's actually one of my favorite shows :tu:

I sometimes talk in an Eliot voice but I am nowhere near as tough as him :D

Due to the width of the metal on both sides of the opening, where the plier head goes.  Along with the length of the handle(the back end of the handle is covered by 2 fingers).

I'm guessing the LM Wave

I agree, it looks like a Wave, but after watching the first season, I think he would be better suited with a Swisstool Spirit X. :D

ANd there was another multi sighting in the same show. Season 1 episode 10. Alec disengages the bomb in the car with what looks like a Leatherman Squirt P4.

I'm torn between Squirt and the Gerber Clutch/Vise.  The pliers head looks a bit Gerberish.

I'm holding the Clutch you got for me mate and I'm convinced it's the same tool. :)  As you say, pliers are Gerber shaped and you can also see the holes drilled in the scales. :tu:

Now see what you did? I'm on s4e9 already. :ahhh I like the show :tu:

Part of it is that I like when shows use real quality gear, not just some cheap prop knockoff like most of the films and shows do these days.

Here's a few more stills of toys we love so much.

S03E10
Nate scraping a dust sample off of a mine wall with one of the VIC 111mm OHO knives, Trekker?

and two from S04E07

maybe a Spyderco Byrd Flight Nate picks up from the funeral parlor floor.

Alec cuts the lining of the coffin he's buried in with a Vic Classic (not SD) he pulled off of his keychain. It looks like he opened the nail file though. Doesn't stop him from cutting with it. :D
