Eventually it will be illegal to talk & drive... maybe this will be the answer.
Has anyone you called commented on sound quality from their end?
I talk with the friend who bought this for me for about 2 hours a day on average. He has the previous generation of the model he got for me and the microphone quality of this device is superb. On the occasions where he runs out of earpiece battery and switches to talking directly into the phone, I can barely tell any difference. The device he has allows him to turn on and off noise assasin, the noise cancellation technology, which can't be turned off on mine, and we have tested it in a variety of environments and it does what it claims. Of course, if your in the middle of a hurricane it won't have much effect.
I'm one of the few people I know who really dislikes talking on the phone while driving. I try to avoid it completely unless I'm on an empty highway. But sometimes it's unavoidable, like when caravanning to a job site or a call comes in that you just have to take. The law here is hands free for driving, you can get a ticket for holding a phone, but that doesn't seem to stop most folks.
