I just got the news about some new fighting between the Philippine military and the NPA!!!  According to the reports, there's been fight up north in Escalante, and  Manjuyod and Bindoy  in the south!!! If my map reading is correct, your town of San Carlos is in between them!!!!

Are you and your family safe?? Are your BOBs ready if you need to use them?? Want me to send you addresses and phone numbers to Emma Barayoga's family in Bacolod??

Thank you for your concern. We are all safe here. The fighting between the military and the NPA are isolated cases only. The peace and order situation here is generally peaceful.

Yes, please send me the address of Emma's family. I will surely find time to locate her family next time I will  be in Bacolod City.

Our place is abnout 50 kms. from Escalante in the north. The two towns Manjuyod and Bindoy are in the other province, Neg. Or. We are in Neg. Occ. province and those two towns are between our place and Dumaguete City, the capital of Neg. Or..
