Team multimoe 2011, Please Support/Join
on: October 27, 2011, 01:24:22 PM
OK guys Movember is just around the corner(1st of November too the end of the month) & I am super keen to do it again this year.
Movember is a fundraising effort that started in Australia a number of years ago , its popularity grows each year & has spread right through out the world. The aim of Movember is to raise awareness & funds for men's health , in particular Prostate cancer & male depression.
My dad has been successfully treated for prostate cancer & is in remission + depression has taken a heavy toll on my family so I am very passionate about Movember.

Movember link ------->http://www.movember.com/?reset=1

I am keen for new & old members to join team multimoe. What is involved , well you start November clean shaven & you grow ya self a moe.Over the course of the month hopefully you can persuade family,friends,workmates,strangers etc to sponsor your moe growing efforts. $ raised goes towards medical research & support for prostate cancer & male depression. Please feel free to join up & if you can afford to , any donations to team multimoe members would be greatly appreciated.

Once Movember/November has commenced on the 1'st I will post updates  :tu: :tu:

So who wants to join/support team multimoe  :think: :think:

unfortunate family events will not allow me to get funny this time, not even for a serious cause.
But thanks for drawing my attention to this movement, I have registered with my country's Movember organisation, and should be joining you all next year around (which is highly adequate, as I am turning 38 next year, entering the danger zone )

grow one, guys!  :cheers:  :salute:

Well if it's one thing we have proven so far, it's that Mat and I both really should have our faces covered as much as possible!   :ahhh

I also got an email from Ray at Raker Knives last night, and he's jumped into the fray and offered this little trinket as an incentive for folks to donate:

We'll post some details as soon as I figure out the best way to get it out there, but I thought you guys might want to drool over it for a bit! :D

I donated to someone that I know at work. If I can I'll also support team multimoe. To tie this in with the hockey thread going, here's the mask that Anaheim Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller is going to be wearing throughout Movember:
