Odd Things
on: January 07, 2008, 10:40:34 AM
I know we all find some odd or interesting things every now and then. Here are a couple that I ran across recently.

Do you eat these raw or are they better wrapped in bacon?

I've encountered Edible Candles before.

I'm not sure if they're better off used during Rambo-esque invasions of desert fortresses, or as a fun way to spice up your BDSM life.

I wonder if they'll start wrapping Survival kits in edible paper and whatnot.

The Swiss chocolate knife still amuses me. One of these days I'm gonna get one and see how it tastes.

I've literally just finished eating one!

Very nice it is too, if you like praline. I found them in a sweet shop in Soho, on a day 'up west' yesterday. £1.50 a go, mind you! :o But I'd had a couple of pints by then, and so bought four... I was just about to go onto SOSAK and try and work out which model it is! ::)

EDIT: It's a Tourist (84mm) :) I really need to get out more... :D

I looked at that link and found out that they are indeed edible.  However, they probally return faster than they went down.  They are essentially made entirely of lipids which combine that with eating nothing else and you get brown stained pants pretty quick.  Or at least that is probally what would happen to me.

That would be a cool flashlight to have when you're walking your dog at night and want some discreet protection.
