Spyderco Delica clip-it question.

Well as you might remember I picked up a Spyderco Delica and a Benchmade of some variety. I put them aside and a couple of days ago I got my new sharpening kit so I put it to use on both. After getting the Delica sharpened up I have grown quite fond of it and am wondering if it originally came with a pocket clip? It is called the Clip it after all.  Any info on this. Also does anyone have an extra clip for one they would be willing to sell?

What version of the Delica do you have?

Steel and handle scale type.  If it's a recent version you should be able to get clips from Spyderco for $5 each.

Uhhh not quite sure. Someone on this forum told me, but I honestly forgot. Here are some pictures that might help. Sorry but the pictures I have do not show the attachment portion for were a clip would go. It just looks like a round hole with a square cutout around it.

Oh dear, you've got an early gen-3 Delica with a barrel-screw clip.  I'd try contact Spyderco first, they might, and I mean *might* have some spare clips laying around, but I think you might be out of luck.  That particular model's been discontinued for... 6 years at least.

Thank you for the info. I will try and contact Spyderco directly and see what I can find.
