Sure is a pain in the butt to put them in the handle!
So I decided to get rid of the combo edge knife in my powerlock and drop in scissors. Well it's as simple as unscrew the bolts and swap it in, right? Wrong, that turned out to be an hour of work.
To start with, the scissors is one and half implement wide, and only goes on one side of each handle since otherwise it hits plier head when closed. This means if you remove two implements then the handle is too narrow and lock tab won't fit in, but if you remove only one the handle is too wide and lock tab only lock the cam of scissors and it folds with each cut. It also got complicated by the fact I have the strap cutter that needs to go in the same side as scissors so the chisel ground edge won't hit the handle when closing (because of the, um, impreciseness of sog tools).
After spend forever trying different combinations (which has their own quarks, i.e. phillips must have two short tools to each side, robertson must have short tool to the left), I finally found by using the lanyard ring as washer it would give me the right thickness. But of course the hole isn't big enough to fit onto barrow screw, and I chipped the hell out of my carbide bit trying to enlarge it.

So I finally got it to fit, but now the spring pops out every other cut.

More bending and twisting of the spring finally solved that, and it finally works.
So anyone care to guess which other implement I removed besides the knife to fit scissors?
