This is a very interesting thread.
As for me, I am one of the guys with at least a PST stashed in several areas, plus I carry a backup in my bag, sometimes even a backup on my belt alongside my EDC. I have knives and flashlights in every room of the house for emergencies, a BOB in my truck that has a survival knife and hatchet, and first aid kits everywhere.
BUT, to answer the OP's question I would have to say if I had to pick one I would have to go with my Blast. Sure it's boring in it's design and I can use it with my eyes closed, but that's why. I know that tool inside and out and I have used each implement more times than I can count. I have carried one for years. I know it's limitations and capabilities so it would be the safest tool for me to have if I was in a stressful situation.
