Figured I'd give this a shot for work. For $16 why not

there was no option for a UK plug.

The charger comes with a standard European 2 pin plug, but for some reason they added that UK/EU to US adapter in as well.

I just used it to keep the torch in that position.

It was cheap (under $20 with some points, $25 regular price) so I will write a bit about it in the cheap torches thread, soon

Apologies to SPAMCORP  :D
When I was throwing some of the wrapping material away I felt something hard in it - it was a UK plug adapter
A pretty good one too.  :salute:

dks, did you buy these for your own use? All of them? :) Are they from those with three or one modes? I love mine, I think it's very good for its price.

It's a Surefire EB2 backup with dual output capability of 500 and 5 lumens.

500 is a lot of bright SG.

It's bright and fits in my back pocket of my jeans with only the tailcap showing.

With the 5 lumen mode I'm able to read maps without compromising my night vision.

My last light was a Zebralight SC62 but I just got notification that my Nitecore EA41 has shipped. If I don't stop buying flashlights I may be living in a cardboard box under a bridge somewhere.

UltraFire LZZ-06 50LM CREE XP-E Q5 2-mode Cool White.
50 lumens is a bit under driven for this LED but it's a usable amount of light and should last a bit longer than the other AAA "160LM pocket sun" that I have.

I was hoping it would have been a closer match to my Alox Rambler from the product shot.

That light is receiving good reviews.

The ATR is a highly regarded feature.

Oh no,not another Surefire.LOL

This light has been on the market for several years.I finally acquiesced to buying one last week.It arrived yesterday and I had a chance to take it out last night and blast light-holes into the darkness.LOL.

It's a very cool light but I've already bought another body that accepts 2X18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries and six additional batts.

I'll post the rebuild when I receive all the parts and assemble them.

In the mean time, here is the factory Surefire P3X Fury.It boasts 1k lumens at the top end and 15 lumens at the low end for 56 hours of run time. These times will improve with the addition of the 18650 batts.

Pulled the trigger on the Thrunite Ti 162lm CW light.  I compared it to my roommates SS Tis and seriously hers seems much brighter. The tint to me is between CW and NW and pretty floody.  The mode spacing is odd, .5/12/162 plus hidden strobe.  I knew all  this going in obviously but the lure of the 162lm pulled me in.  I think the tint mixed with the floody beam makes it seem less bright or maybe I need to take advantage of the 3v this light is supposed to handle.  I ran eneloops then duracel and neither made the light POP.

I'm happy with the fit and finish as well as the noticeable weight ( or not ) of this light.  The tint isn't bad at all just not what I've come to expect from a CW tint.

Funny you mention that as my Ti3 is supposed to be 120lm and seems like its not even as bright as my 85lm E05.

I seem to be going in the wrong direction. It appears most members are buying smaller and smaller lights while I've been buying larger lights.

I had a conversation with Gene Malkoff and as a result I purchased his Hound Dog light. This light is a "thrower' and is powered by four 18650 batts.

http://www.malkoffdevices.com/malkoff-devices-flashlights/stock-flashlights/malkoff-neutral-hound-dog-xm-l

In order to get the 4 cell body I had to order the head and body separately. It will be the largest light I've purchased recently. It's the third light counting from the left.As can be seen it is almost the same size as a two C cell MagLite.
