So the other day I decide I need some 18650 in my life for more run time then my 16340 SWM V11R.

Decide on the Nitecore P12GT for the awesome throw and UI. So a little research and find a group buy with a great price on CPF.

This is where my story should end except I caught the guy running the group buy on the weekend and it took a while to get the code.

While I am waiting I order a Convoy S2+ because sixteen dollars.

Of course I need a 18350 tube for the Convoy because choice is good. While looking for the tube I run across something called a Manker BLF A6. 1300 lumens from a protected high drain 18650 and a simple UI.

Long story long now I have three lights in the mail and I didn't really even need the first one lol.

OK buddy, step away from the keyboard and put down the bank card.  Nice and slowly.

 :D

What does the nw offer that a cw light doesn't?

You need to be able to see colors real well or just prefer the tint?

Colour rendition can make quite a difference when your eyes are tired or when you're stressed out.

Some borrowed pics that might help see why.

Received a Lumintop Worm that I'd won in a Facebook giveaway.  Nice little AAA light that I couldn't help but add some knot work to, around the grooves of the flashlight body.  :D

Cool looking light SG. Four7s is suppose to make pretty good lights.

Got me a little one also from Olight. The S1 Baton.

Got a Nitecore P12GT in the mail today also. Very good throw for a single 18650 tube light.

I was given this one recently.  Nebo Slyde:  http://www.amazon.com/Nebo-6156-flashlight-EdisonBright-batteries/dp/B00OMRCB22/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1459462911&sr=8-16&keywords=nebo+slyde

Its actually a pretty darn good light, especially for the cost.  The main light is very throwy, with a tight hot spot and a little spill, and there is a secondary 16x LED array to provide area lighting.  I have a few versions of the Nebo brand lights and have been happy with all of them.  I own plenty of spendy lights, but this one rocks in the <$25 range.

A Fenix light is my latest. So far I like it. Rechargable is what did it for me with the option to put "normal" bateries in there as well. I also got me a Olight S10R, nice as well but not reliable, well not the one I have at least, and it does need a "special" charger (that comes with the light). The Fenix can be charged with any micro USB you have laying around which makes more sense to me that a specific charger.

You guys and your little CR lights… If I carried one that small, I'd prolly lose it amongst the pocket lint.  :D

How about one of these?

Jetbeam WL-S4 MT-G2 - on the right.  Definitely not a pocket lint collector

...or how about one of these?

Maglite 6D with TerraLux 1000 lumen upgrade - a mini baseball bat, with light that comes out of the end

Perhaps one of these?

Armytek Barracuda XM-L2 T6 (the one on the right)

Orr....

Thrunite TN30 (on the right) - a huge flooder

Fenix TK51 (on the right) - dual reflector, with dedicated flood and spot beams

Have several latest flashlight but the favorite so far is my Fenix LD50, only because is able to run with just one of its batteries.
