Those Nebo Cobb lights have a terrible angry blue glaring beam I think.

I want to like them because they are cheap and feel tough but they just plain SUCK in my experience really all the way around!

The blue would probably bother me.  I tend to prefer neutral to warm.   If it is cool of a light, especially blue, I can only ise for short bursts or it will bother me.

Ugh, that blue tint. I had an LED lantern that put out that hue and using it for an extended amount of time about made me feel ill. I thought about cracking it open and putting some kind of amber transparent wrap inside just to change it up.

I have the Big Larry and on high it is bothersome to my eyes. It is a very white light. On medium is doable for me. Great light otherwise.

My FW3A is the 219c and I love it. The SST’s throw better from what I’ve read. I should probably sleep on it, since I just got the D4V2 in the mail yesterday.  :facepalm:

I have the FW3A in both 219 and SST 5k and I think I actually prefer the SST though in use I am not sure that I could guess which is which anyway?

The light I was really interested in was the Thrunite Neutron 2C. I LOVE the UI on my Thrunite T1 and wanted another ramping UI in a bit bigger light. Those deals kinda grabbed me though...oh well.

Nothin wrong with a little matchy matchy. Gotta love this time of year for deals. My kid gets most of my money though. Even if he’s over his gifts in a few weeks.

Having both in similar lights, I would tend to agree.  It is not real significant, but I think the SST does throw a little better.

Roc - Sorry to hear you have to wait, but when my kids were still little, I had a few times like that. I had not really paid a lot of attention to the D4S until now. I have watched some review videos and that seems like a little powerhouse of a light! Dang it, will probably end up with one someday.


I liquidated a couple of things so I could go ahead and get the Thrunite Neutron 2C. I just enjoy the Thrunite T1 UI so much, I wanted to get my hands on a bigger light with that configuration.

Yeah...he’s at that age where everything he wants is expensive. I haven’t explored Thrunite lights yet. I’m guessing I should hold off till the new year.  :D
