I've just treated myself to an itp a3 for my keyring after reading about it on here. The last expensive torch I bought we a mini maglight about 20 years ago.
Think I may have to look out for an AA pocket torch to carry in my jacket next.
You won't be sorry, they are cracking little lights. :tu:

I just ordered a Sunwayman V10-A. Only light I could find that ticks all the boxes I was looking for.  CPF has nothing but good things to say about, so can't wait.

I have a few Christmas Lights because I really didn't buy many this year.  Have to wait until after the 25th though.

I did gift 2 Nitecore T2s AAA lights. Not my usual pick 4 AAA or light enthusiasts.

Interesting, I have to go update on aaa lights cause I never even heard of those. xpe r2 isn't my first choice though. I more prefer a floodier beam.

BTW. how are you liking the DQG mini2? You still have it, right?

Still have the DQG 2, I have a few, but I've not played with them much as I'm pretty happy with my regular goto lights and that one is not part of the group because I think I had issues with one and i've been really happy with the alternatives.  I have to look at those again I did toy with the idea of using it as a spare cell carrier ... But the delrin holders do good with that as the don't markup anything they contact.

Really was out of the light loop a lot this past year, I had got the v10r in xm-l and it was only so so. I did do a fair bit with LED home lighting tests an recommending to people. Running a few of the Phillips ambient/endura series and their L-prize winner. A couple G7power and stuff like that.

I think the small flashlight manufacturers just can't get quantity of the good LEDs as easy anymore as it is big business now, a lot of commercial demand for these emitters.

XP-G2 looks nice, but really would like to see more High CRI lights with 4-5K color temps.

Zebralights should do a AAA of some sort.  The SC60w has big so good as EDC that I really want the 62w to be released.

I think in my thoughts somewhere I answered your question.

:D yes you did.

I chatted a bit with George, the manufacturer of the DQG, about his lights when the first version came out. I have his email somewhere as i see him on google talk. His designs are great but he had issues with the execution on the ver1 too. I'd like to see what he comes up with next though.

Oh and an AAA Zebra would be just dreamy.

Recently i got this Powertac E5 from Howes Knife Shop:

http://www.howesknifeshop.com/powertac-flashlights/e5-led-flashlight-with-cree-xm-l-led-700-lumens/

Fantastic combination of ridiculous output, small size, and very good build quality.
Works on 2 x CR123A non-rechargeable batteries or 1 x 18650 rechargeable battery.

My own pics:

I want to make a picture of  my tiny collection made up of mostly AAA keychain lights and cheapos....:D I've recently started realising I've turned into a collector from a mere user  Otherwise, why am I thinking of taking with me two old old old lights from my childhood from the village we used to live when I go there next time??? Not even two, but all of them  :bnghd:  I so much hate piling old crap around myself, but ...  :surrender:

I'm also expecting a tiny USB flashlight I ordered as well as may be a light present from a friend....but this will happen only after Christmas/ New Year.

A Nitecore T5s dropped through the letter box about ten minutes ago.  I found a dealer offering them with nearly a third off the normal UK asking price with free postage on Amazon so I ditched my idea of getting a Preon 1 and went with the T5s.  Very first impressions are good - not as bright on high setting, I believe, as the Preon but it doesn't come with modes that I'm never going to use.  The T5s is all stainless steel, and its fit and finish are exceptional - and I suspect this is going to become a favourite.

Nice looking light kitbeard - it's not about the highest lumens, and the T5 has plenty for it's size :)

Reminds me of the Klarus, also a nice light.

Picked up a 2AA Mini MagLite Pro at one of big home improvement stores.  I had been carrying the original LED version but wanted something a little brighter.  My employer supplies AA batteries so its hard to justify carrying a SureFire on the job.

Got my Sunwayman V10A. Last one I could still find in stock anywhere. Awesome little light. Really very happy with it, should make a great EDC, provided I don't lose it/ get it stolen like my last two flashlights.

I got the Sunwayman V20A, but it was defective.
The rotary bezel doesn't change the light levels.  :twak:  >:(
Fortunately the (well known) internet shop gladly accepted it back, and i decided to take the Fenix TA20.  :D
This flashlight is the first in my collection that takes CR123 (i usually have only flashlights of 2A or AAA), but i am glad for my purchase because it's very bright and with a very good beam of light.
