Ice chipper/trowel!

Today I was hooking up door cover of the carport (aka Quebec garage aka temporary-winter-car-shelter-for-poor-people-who-can't-afford-real-one) but the snow around it has frozen from the snow-rain-snow cycle a few days ago. I need to dig down to the base to hook up some lines, and the only thing I had on me was a cold steel fixed blade. Didn't want to use the knife itself as it would just punch holes on the tarp cover, so I just used the knife in its sheath to dig down. It actually worked pretty well since the sheath is flat and thin, and got the job done in a minute, which is a good thing since I didn't have my gloves on and the wind chill was -27°.

I guess I could've went back inside for some proper tools, but that would've been more work.  :D
