It's a nice idea but a bit overkill if you ask me.
If I'm going camping I don't want to haul around a ton of red plywood and plastic.
I don't mind eating on the ground, sleeping in a tent or not having a shower for a couple of days.

and from my experience, sleeping in a car can be a pretty ummm... damp experience
