Mini Zebras

So not happy with the length of my m-701,f-f-701 so I shortened them to fit in my side pocket without stabbing me. I also made a short stylus to match. Here's some pics

And next to the full size version

Perfect for what I need...although they are not black ugh.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

They could if they were really stainless. But Zebra lied. They're not. It's brass coated with stainless

It seems the long barrel is stainless. The knurl, clicker, bottom, is coated brass. But I may be able to find a piece of brass that size.

Did you have to rethread the inside of the tube?

No. There's a plastic insert that I just cut into the appropriate sizes for the pen and pencil. The stylus was a bit more difficult.

Have you tried the telescopic zebra pens? They collapse down to size but pull to full length.  They help eliminate the getting poked problem.   :pok:

I tried them and there ok, just not for me. These little pens fit perfect in my jeans carpenter pocket. Or they also fit very nice in Metros new sheath ;)
