I was "that" close

To being dead today I had a run in with the (very seldom heard of but none the less) Highway Ninja
(cue dramatic music). Older brother of the Mall Ninja.

Even though this happened hours ago I am still shaken.

Here is my near death story.

While driving down the highway doing about 70+. My passenger side window was opened about 3"
(that's 7.62cm) all of a sudden I heard this thump looking down at the steering wheel I saw this.😲

I screamed like a little girl and pee'ed myself.

Looks like the ratchet gear from a cargo tie down. Fairly small one, so it isn't like it was from a major load, just someones stuff strapped to their roof rack or in the back of their pickup.

Scream and pee sounds like a calm, rational reaction.

I think you are right about it being a warning. I wear it now around my neck to remind me of two things.
1) my brush with Highway Ninja
(very few people live to tell)
2) Life is short I am living on borrowed time, enjoy everyday.😃

I doubt it- once a target is engaged it becomes a matter of honor for a ninja to complete his mission. He's probably only toying with you because the economy is so bad and contract killings are down. He's got to occupy himself somehow!

Or maybe there's no contract and he's just screwing with you because he's bored?

I don't know why I am telling you about contract details though- as the SOSAK HITMan I am sure you'd be well aware of these things already!
