Well, a couple of days ago I used my Spirit and converted my sons bed into a toddler bed. And today, my wife's stupid dog peed on the floor. I used the Spirit to pick up the piece of paper that he peed on. Stupid dog. I am becoming more of a cat person every day. They don't pee everywhere, they don't bark every time someone walks by the house, they don't drag mud all through the house, they keep themselves clean, and they don't eat much.

Yes they do, it's just more vindictive when cats do it, and potentially more damaging, or in a very hard spot to reach so it can't be cleaned until it's well and truly soaked into the carpet!

I used the Spirit to pick up the piece of paper that he peed on.

I did something similar yesterday...someones used kleenex on the floor!  My Swisstool picked it up.

Today I used the Swisstool to snip some wires in an old busted tabletop radio.  I took all the copper wire to make an antenna for my own radio.

When I got home I used the blade on my Powerlock to slich through about a pound of tape on a package I got (two machetes!).

After work today I had to fix the central vac system in the garage! I later firgured out that it was the relay that was gone so I ordered a new one from the company! BTW, for Valentines day I got my fiance a iRobot vac. and she loves it! BTW, I didn't get my Skeletool-I got a Shimano BaitRunner fishing reel!

Nope, two old, well used blades...one Jackson and one Express.  Heavy rust on blades; and one has a shaky handle, still not bad for about $15 shipped.

Now all I need is a tree to come down in the back yard so I can bust it up :twak:

Maybe that's why the others don't- they think they're next!   :o

I remember once using a friend's computer when I was traveling- after checking hordes of emails I stretched out a bit and stuck my toes into fresh cat turds that had been artfully hidden between the computer desk and the wall.  At least with a dog, you know where it is!

Actually he died of old age. And he only got that way the last couple of years in his life. Before that he used the litter box faithfully, even when it was dirty. I reckon he just got a little particular when he got older.

Do cats have shorter life span than dogs? I guess dogs have a life span of 15-20 years.

It depends. Bigger dogs USUALLY die younger than small dogs. I think it's about the same between small dogs and cats. ROUGHLY 15 years, give or take a few.

I like dogs but I don't want big dog breeds as pet because they consume a lot of food and expensive to maintain. What I like are small dog breeds like the one in the attached pic. Does anyone know what breed is this?

Hard to tell for sure, but my guess would be a long haired chihuahua.  They are known to be responsible for more bites than any other dog on the planet, but since they only weigh two pounds they don't do much (if any) damage so they don't make headlines.

I used my Farmer to open about 20 cans of green beans and corn for a Church dinner. That got old but it was better than the one they had.

So the nice Allen/Hex key set was being used elsewhere (as in out of the store altogether) and someone needed to adjust the pickups on a guitar...with a metric Allen key :-X  At first I grabbed the "miscillaneous rusty allen bit coffee can" and began to rifle through the various pieces...then I realized...I had the bit kit and wrench I bought from Tim!  I grabbed it out of my bag and lo and behold, out of the two Allen bits I chose to put in the holder, one was the exact size needed!

I took apart a CPU with my Swisstool...because I could!

We were dumping it anyways and wanted to see how far I could get with just the Swisstool before I needed a "real" tool.  I could have easily stripped the whole thing with just the Swisstool!  The extra reach of the Phillips driver really helped inside of the cabinet.

I scavenged a little electric fan that runs on a 12v battery.  What I'm going to use it for, I don't know :D

I did a little whittling with my Farmer yesterday. I made a pointy stick. Then I sawed it in half and made 2 smaller pointy sticks. If anyone wants me to whittle them a pointy stick I charge 19.99 but if you supply the knife and wood I'll do it for $9.99.  :D

It may not be as pointy, but I bet I could get one a lot cheaper from China; with a duck tape handle too.

Edited to add: Yesterday I used the can opener on my Tinker to scrape some gunk off my walls.

Thought I might keep this thread alive....

Was doing some gardening at my girlfriends house on the weekend so I was wearing gloves. Needed to cut some holes in plastic, so I decided to give my seldom-used swisstool a go. Pulled it out of my toolbag only to discover I couldn't open the knife with my gloves on. Pulled the LM Wave off my belt and used that instead :). Used the same tool's pliers to pull some long grass out of a roller on the bottom of a lawn mower, and used the screwdriver to replace a busted trailer lights plug.

Used my Charge TTi today to open boxes of computer memory and power supplies, as well as cut up said boxes once I was done.
