This is what I wrote on the YouTube pagewhich can't be seen here:

This is the best I could do with the materials I had on hand. Had I bought 30 other tools to dissect and machine them, I could've made something even cooler. If I could cast custom pieces to my specs, I think I could make something amazing.

While making this I had hundreds of ideas. Everything from designs for other tools and tool modifications to international sales and marketing. It's a waste I'm not in that field.

Send myself or a Moderator a private message (comic book style word balloon under my avatar) with what you would like your username to be and we'll get that done for you ASAP.

That Tool Is Gorgeous. Very Nice. I'd Love One Just Like It With A Plain Edge Blade. That Would Be My Perfect Tool. Lol.

Of course Knife preference is a very personal choice. Ideally I'd like a serated and strait edge knife, but to save space with only one blade, I used the double type. One good thing about this design is you can change the knife to any size appropriate slim style from any maker you like just by attaching it.

Sorry, no pics or vids of making it. I can tell you, one of the hardest things to make were my own pivots. I'm not sure if they're easy to find in America, but I've been living in Japan for the past 11 years and I'm stuck with only metric sizes. I overcame this when I discovered that the disc attachment pole for my mini-router was the perfect radius. I cut them to perfect length and could screw them at both sides resulting in a solid stainless pivot all the way through at perfect torque. (It takes a bit of trial and error, though.)

I finally had the opportunity to sit down and watch the video from start to finish, and I really like what you've done with that tool.  That is some excellent work- it must have taken you a while to plan and build.
