on: February 16, 2012, 02:23:06 PM
I have had a leen 4 weeks with no new MTs  :(. 2 days ago the drought broke big time  8) 8).

The odd card MT is a Japanese made Kanger , my second , the first one found a better home but I did miss it. When another came up on Ebay I had to have it & $3.95 latter I am going :woohoo: the Kanger has a built in sharpening stone  8) , I was mucking around with it & tried to open a beer with the can opener thinking it was a combined cap lifter can opener , nup  :( I was thinking no cap lifter WTF  ??? , then I thought what about that odd rectangle window  . Yep the window is the cap lifter  8) 8) 8).
The LMs; the S4 Squirt is a bit battered perfectly serviceable & at $5.50 I am happy  :D, The Ps4 Squirt it has bolts not pins  8) 8) :D :D :D.Style CS was a $10 user & I will be using it  :D :D :D.

Yesterday morning these 2 beauties arrived  8) 8)

Camillus Buckmasters lock back at top Cold Steel Twistmaster at bottom.

They are on the bigger size  8) 8) 8).

10 minutes latter the Aussie post contractor delivers this  :o 8) 8) 8)

A standard 99 Swisstool with a Vic branded AAA torch  8) 8) 8), A Pioneer with old style cross but no brass liners    & a MOPAR Mechanic SAK   :D :D.

Thanks to Dennis/WH867 for this great Victorinox pack  8) 8) 8). As always Dennis really is a TOP fella to trade with  :tu:

What a couple of days  :ahhh 8) 8) :D :D :D

I'm impressed that Camillus knife made it through!  Looks like a good haul that any of us would be proud to have, although I suspect it's just a normal day (perhaps a little light?) for Maison d'Chako!   :ahhh

I love that Kangar, Mat. :tu:

I believe the MOPAR also came in a thicker variation, too; there's a pawn store about thirty minutes from here that has eight of them.  Wonderful packages, though; that Camillus is nice.

Yep the OHO + the uncertainty surrounding the new Aussie knife regulations did have me a little worried  :ahhh. I think lockbacks may be a safer bet as they are harder flick open the way customs agents do to test a knife. Customs did inspect the knives  ::) ::).

I really, really, want one of those Cold Steel knives, but never managed to find one at a low price...

Me too  :twak: :twak: :twak:.
Give-away  :ahhh  :ahhh I just got it  :twak: + I like it  :pok: :pok: :D :D
My one is the 'medium' the 'large' must be HUGE  :D

The seller that sold me the Twistmaster had the Camillus , I had to have it as it reminded of one of my favourite small knives another Camillus lock back seen here;

I love the fasteners they remind me of the studs on a old pair of Levis  :D

Great haul on some fine specimens.  :tu:

I'll be back up that way on the 25th, I think, due to the ACE Hardware (with several old knives I want) has a small sale - I can take a look at the MOPAR SAKs then. :tu:

I remember that day well.  I barely knew who you were back then and I was still sad to see that beautiful car go.  After a good while a car becomes part of you- I'm surprised with all the miles I've logged on my Jeep it hasn't permanently affixed itself to my backside.
