Sofirn LT1s

Decided to get a decent lantern.

Bright, smaller than I realised.

500Lm

Has red light too, as well as one direction light.

21700 battery, with charging.

The low could have been lower.

Stable, very solid feeling.

Sofirn IF22A.

Thrower with clever optics.

Way smaller than I expected.

Very speSmurfpillsed beam, only thrower, useful for lighting a long path but not very usefull close up (a zooming light does both).

Very good build quality, charging, 21700 battery, power bank function.

Shown with a floody Q8. The IF22A produces a very bright and nicely circular hot spot, with little flood.

A very nice selection there Deeks.   :tu:  The lamp and the thrower I might have to go and look at.

I like using the lights. The thrower one is great fun, provided you know what it is and do not want flood.

Sofirn? H02A with the Osram P8 LEDs.
I am going through a headlamp upgrade phase, so I got two more.

This one I already had with SST40 LEDs and decided to get the Osram version too.

The Osram version is less bright, though not easily noticeable, and does not seem to have the short time high of the other version.

It does have a very low Low setting, that is only barely usable in very dark places, something some people like, to maintain night vision.
The SST40 version low is more useful to me. Still very low.

There is a photograph with both of them on the lowest setting, and the difference is clear.

Sofirn HS10,  a much lighter single Samsung LED. TIR lens
This is an impressive little light, from the more premium line of Sofirn.
Runs on an 16340 battery, but as it has a lower brightness than the other Sofirn headlamps it runs for a decent amount of time.

I used it for over an hour, on a regular setting and it worked fine, providing good light, without feeling underpowered.

You do lose some light, compared to the 2 LED models but you also lose some weight. The beam is narrower, so not briliant for low light close by work. or reading, but it still a very nice light. Easy to use as a handheld torch too, and magnetic.

I like that look of that one.  I'll take light and handy over a few extra lumens.   :)

Sofirn SP33S.

This is an upgrade of my Sofirn SP33V3.

XHP70.2  and 5000Lm.

This one I got on clearance from their site, as it has no thermal regulation, so it could potentially destroy itself and set fires. The price was nice....
The rest is like the regular model.

The LED has a bigger surface area so you get more spread than with the V3.

Some comparison shots, with highest and lowest beam comparisons.

Overall good quality and a decent upgrade, for my bike

Sofirn Q8 Plus
 6* XHP50B LEDs,16000-lumen turbo mode
Possible to boost it to 21000 with special batteries (for a few seconds :)  )

Some comparison photographs with the BLF Q8 (5000Lm)
The BLF has 4 18650 batteries and the sofirn 3 21700.
The sofirn is slightly thicker, but not noticeably.

The sofirn throttles down quickly, so the Turbo and max modes are not for regular, long period, use. Comes with Anduril 2.0, which some may like.

The actual light intensity, spot, does not look very different, but the sofirn produces a much bigger and uniform spread, a wall of light effect.

Sofirn SC13

1300Lm, small, could, if pushed, be carried on a keychain. Light and solid.
Possibly too small, as I keep dropping it.....

Nice beam.
Some comparison shots with a similar but 1/3 of the price light and the mighty/legendary Trustfire TR-3T6 (the sofirn is about as bright...)

Two cheap no-name Ali/Temu lights.

One has a single LED and the other two (can work with only one or two). They both have coloured LEDs on the back and the two main LED one also has white LEDs at the back too.

Cheap feeling, especially the 2 LED one. Cost around 2 to 2.5 Euro each.
The single LED one comes in various colours and has a metal head, a good sign.

They both seem similar in max power, seeming to be around 200 to 300 Lumen (one claims to be 320)
In one shot they are shown with a similarly sizes sofirn too.

Light but not small - may be possibly used on a keychain, if you have larger pockets.

Bicycle light
Sofirn BS01 2000 Lumens
(no photograph of my own light)
This is one of the lights that I have had for a while but has not mentioned here and as it may interest some I will put some thoughts about it in writing.

This is a speSmurfpillsed bicycle light, where the beam is manipulated so as not to blind oncoming traffic.
The fact that this has been on sale for a few years, with no other bicycle light produced by sofirn, or even an update, seems to indicate that there is not much interest in it, as sofirn would have come out with 10 variants by now if there was a large market :)  (or maybe it is selling so well, they do not need to update it...)

I have used regular lights on bicycles and still use, but decided a few years ago to get a decent bicycle specific light.
Very solid and robust.
Uses an easy to use but model specific mount - if it breaks you will have a problem replacing it. USB charging.
Good light duration. Definitely a few hours of running.
Nice beam.
Smart on/off mode that works well.

My main issue, coming from regular, bright, lights is that the beam is not powerful enough.
2000Lm is OK but it is peak and it works mainly at 500Lm so,  for darker and more dangerous areas you may need to pair it with a regular light.

Always nice to see your new lights mate.   :tu:

This one is my kind of thing.  Is the magnet removable though?

I do mot think so, though everything can be removed if you try hard enough. It is strong.
