Hiking in the Lake District
on: March 19, 2012, 12:26:22 AM
Spent a very pleasant day hiking in the Lake District yesterday.

Panorama of Lake Derwent

Came across a mountain biker who had come off his bike. He had patched his wounds, but had no pain killers. Used Vic Huntsman scissors to cut him a strip of Ibuprofen.

In the evening, dropped by the Watermill in Ings for dinner. Best pub in the Lakes. With no street lighting, used my Zebralight H51 to light the way from the car. First time I have used the light, quite impressed with it.

Beautiful part of the country, looks like spring has sprung a little bit.

I'd love to get back up there myself this year :)

... and one or two other tools as well  :P

The only things I'm missing for getting that little project back underway are time, money and enthusiasm  :D

Absolutely!  :D :D Cheers Bob  :salute:

As soon as I've consolidated my debts, moved hose, finished building an engineering company from scratch, designed, built, commissioned and refined the bespoke plant installations, recruited and trained the workforce, installed all internal procedures and expanded the client base, secured the new lease for the boatyard, including reclaiming a few hundred square foot of land for redevelopment, obtained full planning permission, and approved the clubhouse development schematics, redone the financial modelling for the club so we bring electricity to site over the next term of lease, and addressed a couple of family issues ... I'll be right on it  :tu:

... unless something else turns up again that is

I should have got a job at McDonalds  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :P
