Maratac 1 X AAA Flashlight
on: March 27, 2012, 08:41:37 PM
I received my Maratac 1 X AAA Flashlight in the mail today. It is 80 lumens strong. I have made a few preliminary tests and I am very impressed with the strength in light of this little bugger. I am very satisfied.
Regards
Johan

Wow 80 Lumens from a 1 X AAA. That's quite impressive in my book. Makes my Fenix E01 feel under powered.  :D

The E01s strengths lay elsewhere. :D It's "almost" unkillable and a true battery vampire.

Jors, is that the newer version or the original one? Did you get an aluminium or stainless version? My EDC for the last 6 months or so has been the ITP A3 AAA stainless flashlight (the same flashlight just with less knurling), and I love it. Still going strong.

I've been using it's near cousin, the iTP A2 (AA not AAA), for a keyring light for a good while now and love it. :tu:

I recently got the maratac AAA extreme which is now officially my brightest single AAA torch, just beating my LD01 in a not entirely objective test on a wall.
Pictures of most of my work can be found on my Facebook Page.
Also have a look at my Shapeways Shop and SW Torch Shop for 3D printed items.

I have no idea. It is the stainless version with a black clip and a another loose lanyard clip. All I know is that it is strong, very strong.
MLH modes.

I have the same light.  It's great, and it's easy to operate one handed.  It kicked the LD01 off my keychain.

I am in the Police Force. I have shocked a few colleagues with this little bugger's strength of light power. A few heads were pulled away that some almost whip-lashed their heads after I pointed the light in their eyes (In daylight).
