Finally got my patriot barlow

I've been on the look for over 2 years for a GEC patriot barlow and I finally found one on ebay a few days ago. Well it arrived today. Its #3 of 50.

cool knife, I've heard the pen blade on the earlier models is a pain to open. I'm confused though, the blade says '1 of 50' and yet the serial number is #3, does the printing on the blade mean something different?

There was 50 pieces made and the bolster shows mine is #3.
