I was just going to say that rain coats are, in general, far more appreciated by owners than their dogs.  :D

I got a question,
What’s a good dry dog food? There’s just sooo many each saying ones better then the other and the you get another page that says that other one is better.. I’m just so tired of doing research, and you say cheap yet I could buy a leatherman for the same price of a 20lb bag!
So I was just wondering what’s a good brand?

I get our dog food directly from the vet, however that's just because it's decent and surprisingly well priced.  Rule of thumb I'd go with is; high meat content and low cereal.  Potato and rice are probably better as a bulking out agent than other options, but there is a whole load of differing opinions.

What are you feeding him now ?

I feed Rosie ProPac  which gets great reviews and is kind of a middle priced dog food.
I get it delivered from Chewy.com

If you have access to Costco their Kirkland brand gets good reviews and is very reasonable.

I think the main thing is to find one that you can afford and that he likes and tolerates. Don't get to hung up on all the hype of dog food these days. My old dog Jasper ate bargain dog food most of her life and she lived to almost 16 with no health problems whatsoever.

We found this at our local store just around the corner, it was $20 on sale for a I think 16lb bag, it’s not cheap like kibbles and bits, dog chow, or pedigree, which is like $20 for a 40lb bag,
Our old dog we used to get the K&B cause it was the cheapest for the largest bag and he was fine with it, but times change and you start to understand all this other crap they have to put in food,, well somewhat,, thus why I asked on here what’s a good food?

Since we have alwayd had pugs, the vet advises grain free, because they can have skin allergies. But, that said, if your pup looks/acts happy and eats the food, then it is probably fine. :)

Some dogs need to get used to any new food gradually, so it can be helpful to transition from old to new food over 3-4 days to help their gut get used to the new food.  As far as farts go, that seems to be something any dog can do (and some are definitely worse than others as far as volume and room-clearing ability goes).
