As for black powder, i can get it easy. I shoot black powder rifles all the time.

A buddy of mine had a potato cannon.  We had to pile about 50lbs of blocks on the base to fire it, and it would shoot clear across Grand Lake with no problems at all.  Most here won't know how far that is, but it's impressive for a potato
