Very nice river photo, Eric.
In my area it is so that the well-known natural places were completely overcrowded. Fortunately there is a lot of normal forest around my city where there weren't many people even during the lockdown. I've loved being in the forest since I was a child, but during the Covid times I learned to appreciate the forest even more. Without this possibility of retreat, I would have gone crazy

Today my son was with me again between the trees and met a hedgehog and three deer. We dammed a small stream, made a fire and tested which SAK size we would like to carve.

If you want to be happy, be.

A gentle walk. First time I've been able to go out anywhere with a blade in my pocket for a while, although I was mainly urban so had to be careful where and when I took the photos...

Great pics guys  :tu:.

@Peter:

Always great to see pics of your "father/son" food prep moments, and building a dam is always a great way to spend time  :tu:.

Thanks for sharing your pics mate ;).

@Michael:

Great pics mate, that green looks beautiful, but make sure you don't get into trouble by taking pics to post here, they don't really have to be "public" you know, any setting will do  :tu:.

But thank you for sharing them here my friend  :salute:.

@Sos24:

Is that a SAK-eating plant? Beautiful pic mate, and I just love the scales on that SAK, respect  :salute:.

Thanks for sharing them here mate  :salute:.

@John:

Beautiful pic my friend, and a nice combination of tools.  The Original Supertool will always have a special place in my heart, being my first multitool, which I bought back in '94, when I was 16 years old.

Thanks for sharing your pic here my friend  :salute:.

Beautiful pics John, love the colours in these pics, sky vs water, and I especially love the contrast of the red SAK vs the blue paint in the last one  :tu:.

Oh, and your friend photobombing the first pic is hilarious and awesome at the same time  :D.

Thanks for sharing your pics here mate  :hatsoff:.

Greetings from Belgium  :salute:.

Stuck at home with a tennis elbow (and fluid and an infection on my wrist and elbow, thanks to trying to "work it off" instead of staying home from work to give my arm some rest... ::)).

Anyway, we tried to make the best of a bad situation and went on a day trip to the coast, Misses TG-24, our little girl, and yours truly.

Misses TG-24 had to drive there since I'm having trouble driving myself at the moment.

The weather was great,  the beach was empty, in front of us the English Channel, behind us the dunes with a stretch of original "Atlantic Wall" in them, and behind the dunes,  an airport, so plenty to see  ;).

The Rangeman was on duty that day:

As was my trusty Swisschamp:

Here you can see the remains of the Atlantic Wall in the distance, it's a site called "Raversijde", I posted pictures of a visit to the site in this topic in the past,  go check them out, they're on page 6 :pok:.

And since there's an airport behind the dunes...

When we were heading back to the car, an Antonov landed there, quite impressive.

Thanks mate, quite painful indeed, and physiotherapy is very painful as well, I have to put ice on it after each session to numb the pain a bit.

Oh well, at least I can go for a walk now, a couple of years I had the same problem in my knee (they don't call it a tennis elbow then  ;)),  and I was stuck on the couch.

On the bright side, I got myself a new GPS watch a couple of days ago.

When Garmin released their Instinct watch a couple of years ago,  I was very interested, but never went for it.  When they released the Instinct Solar, I was sold...

I went for the Tactical version since you can get that one in moss green.

Took the time to set it up to my preferences today, and I will still need a couple of hikes to get to know it a bit better, but it feels very comfortable on the wrist, and it's a nice change from my giant Casio Mudmaster.

No risk of trouble where I took those Eric, the first one was right outside my front door. :D

Hope the tennis elbow clears up soon, and nice pics. Great shot of the plane landing!

Nice! A quality bit of kit Eric, do you need to set elevation or automatic?

I think you can do both John, but I haven't had much field time with it yet, so I still need some time to learn how to use it properly.

I've seen the option "manual calibration"  and "calibrate by GPS location" on it, so I guess you can do both.

But nothing beats manual calibration in my opinion.  Every time you pass a signpost, or a cabin with the exact altitude on it, calibrate... 😉

Beautiful pic mate  :drool:.

Love the colour combination, but it just made me realize that I don't own a blue cellidor SAK, at least not that I know of (yes, we have reached that point of not knowing exactly what's in the collection and what's not  :-[).

Thanks for sharing your pic mate, stay safe  :salute:.

Here’s a YouTube video review of wire strippers, Cybertool is mentioned.
