I'm getting a Leatherman

Believe it or not I'm getting a Supertool

I had a ST 200 and liked it but hated the lock release . So if all goes well it should arive in the morning

I'm going to EDC it for a while but dont want to mess it up. Then I'll do a comparison with a Swisstool but to be honest I dont think I will learn anything new . Both tools are big heavy capable tools each with their own advantages and disadvantages .
Could this be the start of something new

War, Famine, pestilence and Dunc getting a Leatherman?

It's always nice to get back with older tools and try them out from time to time. Your tastes and needs can change over time and what doesn't work for you now can work later. It's all part of the evolutionary process, something we as multitool and SAK enthusiasts can really appreciate!

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it!

The truth be known is my mate Tim Leatherman contacted me saying I'd done such a good job getting half the planet to buy Swisstools would I mind saying a few kind words about his product

No one is a good enough swimmer to risk being near water with a dead weight like the Surge on them.

Dunc is more of a Blast man. A medium selection, nothing too fancy, some might even say bland, but enough to get you by when you don't need the weighty Toolbox of a Swisstool.

(That is, if he doesn't upgrade his Supertool to a Core -I know a quality bloke such as hissownself would cringe at not having a good Reamer on a tool)

You know, those Leatherman folks visit this forum to get ideas. Next year they will come out with a model that floats. Or has an inflateable marker buoy at the very least.

What will they name it? My suggestion would be the Dunkin' More

Thats a great idea

But I dont think it would be strong enough for the plier head although I'm not sure

Another downside to H-1 is it marks and scratches really easily ( fact ) so the tool could look a real mess in a short time . It would be good though
