First Wenger Watch.
on: December 16, 2012, 05:38:47 AM
I just bought my first Wenger watch and it came in today. I had to get a few links taken out, but all is well now. It keeps perfect time and appears to be a great watch. I would like a few things to be different, but for its price point and what I paid i'm good with it. I'm sure I will be doing a write-up of this watch in a few months.

Thanks guys. I wish I had a lot of money to spend on a nice watch, but I think this one will be just fine.   :tu:

I had one a while back but don't have any quartz watches in my collection now.

Otherwise, I think they make some really nice looking watches, including that one :)

Nice watch, Cap'n!  I have two Wenger watches.  One is unfortunately not working, gotta get it fixed.  The other is the only watch I wear.  :tu:

Nice watch!  I had a few Wengers but gave most of them away.  The only one I have left is actually not made by Wenger despite having the Wenger name on it- it was a promotional watch done years ago and it has a SAK for hands.  The minute hand is the scale and the hour hand is the blade.  :D

From SOSAKOnline:

If I could find another one I'd mod it so I had way cool SAK hands on a nice auto with a steel or titanium case and maybe a Seiko movement.  I can't bring myself to cut this one apart though.

I picked up this one on evilbay earlier in the year for $35.
It's a little "second hand", but I can wear it places I don't want to wear my Sportura.

One of Def's generous give away Wengers.   Just sent it to me no reason.
