Nice one!

I've just heard it'll be another couple of hours until the ramp is repaired.  It's going to be a long one tonight.

If we wanted to start talking specific models, then yes, I could probably keep it going until the end of the year, but they'd be tiny little differences- things like red Huntsman today, black Huntsman tomorrow, pre-1991 Huntsman the day after that and SOSAK Huntsman the day after that.... or Blue Charge ALX, Green Charge ALX, Black Charge ALX etc, or Red Zilla, Black & grey Zilla, all black Zilla, all black Zilla Jr, black & grey Zilla Jr....

That seems like really splitting hairs to me and I think that would get boring and tedious in short order.  Better to just have fun with it now, enjoy it while it lasts and maybe try it again some other time.  Bottle openers was relatively easy though as it seems almost every tool out there has one.  Maybe we should try a "non bottle opener EDC" thread some time and see if anyone carries something without a bottle opener!  :D

Month ain't over yet..... Hi Tec multitool

Handles closed - FAIL. The bottom handle is too fat to allow the opener to get close enough to the cap.  Handles open, no problem.

I wanted to do something interesting for my final opener of the month so I chose my Becker Necker.  It qualifies (technically) as a multitool since it's a knife and a bottle opener (I set that precedent with the Buck Metro!) And also because it has a bit of a history here at MTO.

A few years ago I sold my Becker Necker and almost immediately regretted it as it's such a nice little knife.  Mike, Lord of the Spammers (or Micky D as he was known back then) offered me his, which I jumped at.

So, Mike, I know we razz you a lot here, but I'm using your knife to open my last beer and raising said beer in your honor as we close off the Bottle Opener A Day challenge.

Cheers to you Mike, and to everyone else here who went the extra mile to help keep it interesting!
