Mmm that's a good idea. Though I may have a solution for all. The detachable lanyard clip doesn't see that much use IMO. Maybe add a carbide spike to the end of that and it's also removable. Just an idea but I like it.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

maybe grind one and get it heat treated?

It be slightly blunt and attach 'permanently' if you take out the secret lanyard ring out.

Maybe a sak midnite manager with the pen? Modify it with a carbide point instead of a pen.

You wouldn't want to have to open the pliers, pull the bit driver out, (extract the bit and place the glass breaker) close the pliers in a high stress situation when you're upside down in a lake trying to break the glass to get out of a car. Too many steps.

I'd say make something that can be attached to the pocket clip/lanyard ring slot and leave it there. Pull out and slam against the window, plain, simple and fast.

great suggestions, anyone know where i could get a cheap carbide glass breaker that would be easy to separate from its original tool? Also, would i need a special bit to drill into the pocket clip?

Any hardware store will have carbide scribes. You maybe able to find just the carbide point there too.

If your in the US home depot and lowes both have a carbide scribe for under $20. And if that's all you need you will still have 2 scribes left. General tools is the brand.

Guys, in the past I have thought about buying something like these for screwing in to the handle of a knife as a glass breaker (modifying the point a bit)

I don't know if this helps but they are hardened and threaded

Maybe pick up some 'samples' somewhere  ;)
Everything’s adjustable
