That doesn't really necessitate bad feedback - i would talk to the seller first as he may just replace it faulty products happen time to time!

Cheap generic power supplies are often too cheap.  Be careful how cheap you buy.

Glad nothing other than the charger bit the dust!
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Anybody remembers British Leyland?

I have basically lost trust on any complicated machine/electronics that is not made in Germany or Japan.... (or in factories run by them, like the UK made Honda cars)

...though, my tumble dryer, white knight rebranded, is made in the UK and runs fine. It was made over 10 years ago

We had Triumphs and Vauxhalls, right up to the Viva which I drove too for some years, later. Then the Allegro came along and a relative bought it (had a Viva and a Fiat), since we thought that British cars were better than those new Japanese ones. When he came to sell it a few years later nobody wanted it. Used Japanese cars of the same age were selling quickly and for lots of money. I had some used Opel kadetts (Vauxhall Astras I think) in later years and was happy with them, though they were German made.
