Never could quite get into them. After handling one at one of the early meet-ups I just didn't warm to the sheet steel handle. I know others like them more than I do though.

That was my experiece after handling Ben's one too Joking aside they are robust, working knives, but not for me Good to see a nice patina on it already though

I didn't realize Douk Douks came in a sheepsfoot flavor, 50ft. I may have to pick one up here in the very near future. I know the clip point variety comes in a smaller option; do you know if the sheepsfoot one does too?

the sheepsfoot looks a bit nicer than the standard clip. Are these knives as scarily sharp as their reputation?
I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 or 70 knives/SAKs/MTs, and every single one has been used to one extent or other. Most get stored because they're seldom used, and I am exceedingly lazy when it comes to selling or trading online. I don't collect for collectivity's sake or value. My carry preference changes frequently, too, so it's a minor luxury to go out to the garage and sift through a brimming .50 calibre ammo box for what suits my mood. So, maybe I'll run out and grab my demo knife, and carry it for grins and giggles. As soon as I put away my Opinel No. 8...
