I just received a SOG PowerAssist and nylon belt case.   The PowerAssist is wider than my SOG PowerLock and will not fit in the PowerLock's leather case.

The SOG web site lists an L69 large leather case which is supposed to fit both tools.   Have they changed the size of the large leather case over the years?

I can probably wet the PowerLock's leather case and stretch it to fit the PowerAssist.

I found an ebay seller who sells new SOG L69 leather cases for the PowerLock/PowerAssist for $9.20/each with free shipping.   I ordered a case from him and will post the results when I receive it.

If the new case is the same size as my old leather case, I will wet one of the cases and stretch it to fit the larger PowerAssist and use the unstretched case for my PowerLock.

My old case rides a little high above the belt and pokes me in the side, but I don't expect the new case to ride differently.

A new SOG leather case arrived from the ebay seller and the PowerAssist fits OK.

The new case is a little taller than the old case which came with my old PowerLock (which lacked gear covers).  Otherwise, both cases are the same design and quality.   They both ride high above the top of my belt.
