Freestyle cx blade in a wave?

anyone know if it would be a drop in, i'm considering getting one if so

Not a direct drop in but doable. The pivot hole is the same size but you'll need to grind/file down the CX blade a bit. It's been done before. Here's a wave and a CX blade side by side with the amount of extra metal on the CX blade blacked out.



Or try getting a 154cm or S30v blade from one of the Charges.

Awesome info enki! :tu:  It seems (to me, at least) that it would probably be easier to find a 154cm blade from a charge to drop in. It also seems to me like you're losing a lot of blade in the process with this swap as well, since you already have the full serrated blade on the wave, being as the freestyle blade is shorter and a combo blade. Best of luck if you go for it, though!

Didn't realize the size difference, yeah I wont be doing this. Originally I thought it would be a cheaper alternative to buying a charge, but now I might not do either, not for a while.
