Tip: improving the SOG PowerLock scissors comfort
on:
August 05, 2012, 04:20:56 AM
The SOG PowerLock scissors has a thin handle with sharp edges which can dig uncomfortably into your thumb. A short length of heat shrink tubing installed over the handle provides a thumb cushion.
If the heat shrink tubing is thin and short enough, it will fit without interfering with the scissors spring.

Excellent tip, and not spendy. I like it.
“I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics. So do not take the lecture too seriously, feeling that you really have to understand in terms of some model what I am going to describe, but just relax and enjoy it. I am going to tell you what nature behaves like. If you will simply admit that maybe she does behave like this, you will find her a delightful, entrancing thing." Richard Feynman, 1964, MIT.
