Hi all. As per the recent (8/6/12) discussion in the "What's your latest SAK" thread in the Swiss Forum, I am starting this thread as a place for members to discuss issues with the Amazon partner seller "Wayfair".
(Mods; if this thread should go into a different forum, please move it at your convenience, and my apologies, I wasn't sure quite where I should post this.)
It seems a number of us have experienced what appears to be bait-and-switch tactics with their items on Amazon. Most recently, I fell into it with what was advertised as a Work Champ XL for $70, but in reality was a regular Work Champ. The confirmation notice I received for the order listed a Work Champ as what I ordered. The price on the page was then updated to be $175 instead.
So, post your misadventures with Wayfair here, and whether or not the issue was resolved to your satisfaction. Also, we should post seller reviews about them on Amazon, (this is what I'll try to track for us, who has posted to their seller comments). Feel free to post drafts of the seller feedback you plan to leave on Amazon about them, so we can discuss and make suggestions. Let's keep this mature and professional, no nastiness or name calling, etc. Also, keep in mind that seller feedback isn't the same as item reviews; too many people on Amazon post negative comments about a seller in the item reviews. If there's any questions about this, just ask, and I'll see what I can do to help with pointing people in the right direction to find the links for seller feedback/reviews.
