I changed the original strap on my oldest G-Shock (the one I wear for work every day) for a new "Nato style" one, but since the original strap was also some kind of Nato copy, I didn't have to buy the adapters.

The original one was good, but a bit bulky, and after about 15 years of use it was getting pretty worn out (and a bit smelly, even after washing it thoroughly ...).

So today, first day at work with new strap, and I must say, I like it a lot, very comfortable, and not as bulky as the original one.

P.S. I went for the 24 mm Nato/Zulu strap.

So, here are some pics with the original strap:

And here with the new one:

Those adaptors won´t work on the 300/3500 series G-Shocks as they use a different lug design.
On the watchuseek G-Shock forum (I hang out there, too) there was a thread on what adaptors to use, AFAIK.

One thread i fiound:

http://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/gw2500b-zulu-353980.html

It´s about the GW-2500, but it shares the lug design (and uses tha same strap and bracelet) as the GW-300/3500 series.

Thats a shame ryan as i had a spare set of those 16mm adapters a while ago, i would stick a zulu instead of a nato as for some reason looks better with the larger loops  :tu:

Hmm, trust you to have a tricky one!

Hopefully you can pick up the right adapters - I don't know of any other way to do this.

One of the reasons I bought my Pathfinder was that you could replace the strap with any suitable 22mm, straight swap. I'm no fan of the plastic and rubber straps either, and never find them comfy.
