TEAM MULTIMOE Raising $ for Mens Health

The month of Movember/November is just around the corner. The purpose of movember is to; "raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health". It started in Australia a number of years ago & has spread right around the world. It involves people starting the month of Movember/November clean shaven & spending the next 4 weeks growing a Moe & HOPEFULLY getting heaps of support for their efforts via donations/sponsorship. As we have done for the last couple of years we are forming a MTO Movember Team ; Team MULTIMOE

. My dad has been treated for Prostate cancer & supporting fellas with mental health issues is something that is REALLY needed.

Heck yeah, I'm on board 1000%!¡! As stated in a previous thread/ post, I won't be growing the traditional stache though, I will grow the chin chop connector thing

, I was going to ask them too set up a network for us but as there is only 3 members so far I think we will leave the team set up the same as last year

Not sure if you can donate before the start of November/Movember

, you should be able too

. Just did a search & it looks like you can do donations all year round

I'm looking for the rules on Movember. I was looking at the official Movember page and found nothing. Anyone know the rules on this?

Not sure if there is any 'official' rules as such

What generally happens I believe is at the 1'st of November/Movember you start off clean shaven & over the proceeding 4 weeks you cultivate a Moe or in your chase chops

. It is a good idea to post photos of the progress your facial hair is making & yes be prepared for ribbing

.

I think the nuts & bolts of Movember is having a fun way of raising $ & at the same time raising awareness of men's health in particular; Prostate & testicular cancer along with depression & other mental health issues confronting men.
A lame bit of facial hair often leads too a 'Mate what the hell is going on with your facial hair' at which point you say 'it's for a good cause it , it is Movember.." at which point you can talk about the wonderful things Movember has done (raised millions of $) AND most importantly got people talking about men's health

I seem to recall there being guidelines for moustaches, although I don't know how serious they were. Perhaps with my military upbringing I read more into it than there really was.

At any rate, is it just the three of us this year or is anyone else planning on joining in?
