Giants are going to The World Series!!! AGAIN!!! Woo hoo!!!
My smurfing team can't even play .500 ball, let alone win two pennants in three years. Since they're not the Phillies or Braves, Go Giants!
Tom, I feel your pain... it's a hard time to be a Mets fan... I remember when a "good" season for the Giants was simply finishing ahead of the Bums... those were the days! NL pride, brother! NL pride!!!

Can't accuse me of being a bandwagon baseball fan when you're saying "wait 'till next year!" the day after pitchers and catchers report. As for NL pride, I always root for the senior circuit unless Philly or Atlanta are in. If a Series is a nightmare matchup like Yankees-Phillies, I root for a natural disaster to strike the stadium.....
dks: there's always gotta be a smart-aleck...
That was impressive, watching Verlander get shelled like that! Zito looked great. What's with the Freak coming out of the 'pen though? Whatever, it works. Go Giants!
One nice thing about knowing I didn't have to work today is that I could stay up and watch the whole game. Congrats to the San Francisco Giants! Wow, three years in a row of NL Series winners - isn't that a sign of the End Times? Or is that a Mets-Cubs pennant series?

I think the AL just needs to get off their butts and win an All-Star game to get home field advantage. Oh yeah, and maybe a team that can contend in the World Series.(Image removed from quote.)
