Need advice on flashlight

A close friend of mine will be leaving for the USA this coming Saturday. Since USA made tools/gadgets are too expensive here I am taking this opportunity to request my friend to buy for me flashlight/s. I may buy one each of the following:
1 AA
2 AA
2 AAA.

My budget is between 20 to 30 USD for each flashlight that I may decide to buy.

I really can't think of anything that's usa made, use those battery and under $30. Maybe maglite but they are already a whole generation behind on their LED technology.

I am sorry I was not able to give more data that you can base your suggestions. It should be a LED flashlight. I consider incandescent type outdated.

It doesn't have to be made in USA because there are also good quality China made flashlights like the Fenix. My number one priority is high lumens rating, then durability. I am not concerned about battery life since AA and AAA are cheap here. It could have a single mode or multiple mode of brighthness.

I should have stated in my first post that "imported tools/gadgets are expensive here" rather than USA made tools/gadgets are too expensive here. I stated that because good quality China products like the Fenix are not directly exported here.

Maybe something by Streamlight?  They fall in your price range.

You know you can buy fenix etc. from dealextreme.com (hong kong), or fenix-store.com (u.s.) with free global shipping, right? If you just want something bright there are plenty of cheap lights on dealextreme with newest led emitters, and build quality is decent. Check CPF review section for some ideas on which ones are better than the rest.
