I used the pliers on my Champ to tighten a bolt holding a drawer pull. The bolt was loose, the Champ was in my pocket - problem solved!

I'm a decent enough painter, but it's not something I particularly enjoy. Good luck with all those projects!

Put together a new walking aid toy for my little one with my CyberTool M bit driver, she happily helped.

Forgot to post it, but a few weeks ago Spirit had quite a workout .

Used pliers to remove old hook from the wall and then ratchet was used to secure new shelves and a mirror in place.

Celebrated it with opening a coconut with an awl later on that same day

P.S.: today I also used pliers to pull an old nail out of the wall and to hold a new tiny nail in place because it was too short for my fingers . Sadly I didn’t take any pics, but that reminded me to post this .

Great uses, y'awl! And good to see you again, in_sympathy!

Thank you, my friend! Good to see you and awl of you as well :)

Also used Work Champ and Spirit alongside some other tools to replace a plug on my new AC adapter I ordered from Aliexpress. Ordered a EUR version with 220V in and luckily it arrived but with a US power plug 🤷‍♂️.

But it took only a few minutes to fix.

Bought it for my pedalboard which I used a lot back in a day. Used it with a switching power supply for years and sometimes it produced quite a lot of loud low frequency noise. And then I accidentally powered my board with my linear lab power supply and went numb for a moment because the signal was just crystal clear. That's when I realised I need to get a linear power supply for the pedalboard and how much of a tremendous difference it actually makes  :woohoo:

I used the inline Philips driver on the SwissChamp to tighten the hinges on a few kitchen cabinet doors, then it was on to the combo tool of the Compact to help open the packaging for some 9V batteries to swap out in all the smoke detectors in the house.

Package opener on my Spirit was used to open a box from Chewy.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Following along with the fruit theme, I made an App-O-Lantern.  One screaming with pain from a Wenger in the brain.  I put it out of its misery in the proper way.  Best wishes.  G

This evening I used the SD tip of my classic to pry off the back of my old flip phone to takeout the SIM card so I could toss the thing in the trash. It was an old flip phone and was dying. Do I broke out my new in the box old flip phone I had on stand-by. I don't know how many years that will last, but I'm trying to avoid the whole smart phone thing.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

Nashi (aka Asian Pear in US) , Nashi typically eaten firm needs a very sharp blade and also you need good light handle & grip, which  my humble Spartan can do the job  :climber:

Been using my SAKs a lot lately. Actually got  around to a photo today. This is a 39045 budding floral combo. I have been using it as a resharpenable exacto knife, and light duty carving knife.   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

That's a cool SAK, and it represents a line that is conspicuously absent from my horde. Might have to fix that...

Oh you wont regret, they are interesting tools. Handle is great for big hands. This one in particular is a lot like a pattern of budding knives that has a long history. Two opposed blades where one has the bark lifter on the back. Here are a couple similars I found in some old threads on another knife collecting site.   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]   it is a shame that Vic discontinued the wharncliffe blade.

It was Mrs. TJ who used it. She used the scissors on my Super Tinker to cut the tags off some new items and closed it herself and didn't hand it back to me opened. I was very proud of her!

I used the SwissChamp’s pen, awl, and inline Phillips to attach a hanging wire to the back of a mirror. Measuring was done with a tape measure. Trimming the excess picture wire was beyond the capabilities of the cutter on the Champ’s pliers (I tried) so wire cutters were used also.

I wish there were a SAK out there with legit wire cutters. I’d love to add them to a Champ.

Hey, nicely done!
+1 on adding a set of wire cutters to a SAK - it'd make a perfect EDC for me then :)
