I should think Vic could use the pliers as a template for wire cutters, just change the head. That should give us something strong enough to cut electrical wire, picture hanging wire, maybe even an AC power cord.

Used the big flathead screwdriver on my Champ to replace several switch plates. Replaced the cheapy off-white plastic ones with some aged bronze metal ones.

:like: I have such switch plates at the Farmer X Homestead. They do indeed look much better than the cheapo plastic ones.

Needed the awl and scissors for this little project, the kid asked if I could make something for his work, the garage door is a little high and what was on it broke, so he asked if I could make a little something in “the companies colors” to make it easy for the workers to pull the door down,,

The cord to a 1950s Singer sewing machine was old and cracked, so I opened up the two slotted screws on the plug with my 84 mm Golfer and stripped the insulation off an unused extension cord.

I don’t have a picture to share but I used the main blade on my Deluxe Tinker to open three spools of outdoor Christmas lights to distribute around the yard.

My 5 year old son “helped” me and I took the opportunity  to explain to him that a pocket knife is a tool and not a weapon and that if he wanted one of his own one day, he would have to learn the difference.

This 100mm is maybe not made for carving but has become my razor/wood carving knife for projects. Today we sat in the yard and carved tuning pegs out of cherry.   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Thanks, these are the type of peg used on violins. In this case they will go on old style banjos. Next step is shape the handle parts on the sander. Tedious work, and its so easy to order mass produced ones on amazon for cheap, but it gives the banjos a nice handmade touch.

Batteries went dead in a Christmas decoration.  WorkChamp and the long skinny Phillips to the rescue, removing the battery cover screw.  Let there be light.

Used the tooth pick, tweezers and pliers of my XLT to remove a lot of crap from the tumbler which didn't function properly anymore.

Tomorrow we'll see if it works.

The '24 Winter Magic helped cut the clingfilm to wrap the smoked salmon for the Italian connection.

I wrap it up to prevent any leakage of fish juice into the suitcase, despite the vacuum packing (and place it in a freezer bag on the outside of the bag)

Also present is a Christmas pudding that "nobody" likes but awl eat regardless  ::)
More food packing to follow, pending instructions  :twak:
They don't like it up 'em!

What makes it the smoked salmon Scottish?  Is it wearing a wee kilt?
