Used a Spartan to pry off scales on a Fieldmaster and a Mountaineer to make them feel pretty! New sapphire for the F - master, white for the Mountaineer!

Sapphire and white scales are excellent replacements--very nice!

Interesting that you were using a Spartan to pry scales today! I also use a Spartan to pry scales when it is time to replace a set. I used it yesterday and when I couldn't find where I stashed it this afternoon, I went with a Tinker to pop the scales from an Executive. I intended to install the new black scales but after the spa and lube treatment, it looks like I need to do some fine grit sanding with automotive sandpaper and use the Dremel with rubbing compound and polishing for mirror finishes. This will make the other Executive look shabby by comparison so I will have to repeat the process plus buy another set of 71mm scales.

I just realized WalMart has those disposable helium tanks, and for much cheaper than online. I got the $20 smaller one, mostly just for fun and might try launching a couple outside to see how far they go.  :D

I used the scissors to open the pack of included balloons + ribbon and finally found a use for the key ring (since victorinox does list it as a function lol)

Nice decision.
Wal-Mart needs to sell a swisschamp with each balloon pack now. )))
Peace. Work. May.

Today one of my little sons threw down the box from the closet and broke it.
I used an awl on my evo s14 to run pilot holes in it then pulled it some screws.
Peace. Work. May.

Four thumbs up!!
I like hearing these "girly" uses for the SAK because they're things I hadn't thought of. Everybody should own a SAK at least once in their life.

Today I installed a gas log burner set.

The SAK was not only convenient for some things, it was the only thing small enough to hold the nuts for the grate anchors.

I don't seem to be able to live a normal day without a SAK. LOL!

*** Exec challenge here ***

This morning, I used my Exec scissors to open my morning drink mix.

I am digging the extra length of the scissors and it seems the more I use its nail file the more I like it.
