Favorite tool and why?
on: March 16, 2008, 01:52:35 AM
I have made one of these in the past.. I am making another because we have a lot of new members..

As many of you know, my FAVORITE LM is the SURGE! The reason I like the SURGE is because you don't have to make any compromises.. By this I mean you don't have to pick certain implements. Like the Swisstool you have to decide between scissors or a serrated blade.. Or on the LM Charge you have to pick if you want scissors or multiple bit drivers... Another selling point is how it has large on handed opening blades. I have come to love this! In a nut-shell the SURGE has: two large OHO blades, robust scissors, blade exchanger that lets you switch between saw and file (so you don't lose either or), large pliers with nice big wire cutters, stranded wire cutter, AWL, and I could talk about the SURGE for days but I won't! What's yours?

As the Secretary of the Redundancy Department of Redundancy, it's my job to snoop these things out.
