A Surprise For A Deployed Soldier

My son contacted the University Bookstore and asked if they could send some UM logo stickers to him in Afghanistan. When the package arrived it not only had the stickers, they included a football jersey and some T-shirts. Look at the smile on his face in this picture.

Ben did not attend the University of Michigan, but he is a loyal fan.

Thank you for thinking about spending something to Ben. A deployed Soldiers day is made when he knows people back home are thinking of him.

I'm that way with Texas A&M, though I'm not from Texas. I got to go to a game about 7 years ago with a 12th Man Alum and it changed me forever. So much tradition at that school as is others all over the place.
