Just seen on BBC News that Gerry Anderson,created of Thunderbirds,Stingray,and Space1999 amongst others has passed away.

RIP Gerry,my life and those of many children of all ages are so much better because of your shows
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

I have to admit that I had though him gone long ago.  Very sad news. :(

Brian Blessed got it right, he said "I think a light has gone out in the universe" :(

I was a big fan. I even worked on the Thunderbirds show in London many years ago, and grew up on his stuff.
