Another Gerber MT at SHOT
on: January 18, 2013, 05:40:34 AM
I saw a picture of another butterfly style MT from Gerber. I wonder what is up with all these butterfly style MT's? Anyways, this looks decent. Really long drivers, OHO blades with a cutting edge that goes back a good ways (unlike the flik), and what looks to be a bit driver. 3 flat drivers? Seems excessive given that it has no visible scissors, saw, or file. Anyways, I ripped the pic from a blog. If this is a no no, I apologize and please feel free to take it down. Lol, I need to read the rules, I suppose

Now that does look intersting to me.  I am wondering what the slightly odd looking tool is, the one next to the SE blade in the pic, seems to have a lot of "shape" to it.  Either that or I am just not getting a good look at it from my phone. :D

How many drivers?  :o :o Crazy! If you've got the bit driver anyway (hopefully this one will be for standard bits  ::) ) then where's the scissors, awl, file ....

The pliers look a little too needle nosed for my liking too, but I'll wait so see more info before condemning it completely  :D

That's what I believe it is. But it does have a lot of shape to it. I am wondering it is some sort of a multi-purpose tool?

That's kinda what I'm thinking, maybe a prybar/scraper thingy?

Good to see Gerber still cranking out the new designs! :tu: Hopefully they will be refining the tool selection on this one before bringing it out to market though. :)
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools
