So, the Sanrenmu 913p..



I just noticed this knife even though it seems to have been out in the wild for a while. For some reason I get mostly german hits on google when I try to search for it. On the German ebay there's a plain edge as well:



Anyone have one? If so, do you like it? Seems neat enough.

Not sure if it's real or not though.. I thought Sanrenmu stopped producing their 9* series (or basically any of their bigger blades) but.. I'm a bit tempted by the black serrated version.

Yes SRM/Land are nice.
I think the idea was that they stopped the 9** series as they were too big for legal carry in China.
There have been reports of some fake 9** ones being made (962 for example) since they were popular, so be carefull with what you buy.

I just saw the 962 on Exduct for $34....  I am glad I have a couple..

Yeah I heard about those fakes as well. :/

I took the plunge and ordered the serrated one from exduct, they had them on sale.

I've got two SRM knives already so I have high hopes for this one. They tend to be better than they ought to be considering their price. I'll let you know how it is once I get it.

That is a very nice looking knife.  I've found the Chinese-made and marketed knives that I have from Enlan, SRM, etc to be very well made blades.    I'd have no problem at all buying another one or five.

I feel the exact same way.

I bought an Enlan EL-01 for a friend of mine this christmas and was pretty impressed that one as well so Both Enland and SRM seems to make nice knives.

So I got it today.. I have to say that I like it.

The only negative I could find with it was that ther's a tiny bit of horizontal blade play.. I can hardly see it but I can feel it moving just bit when I try to. Maybe a millimeter or so.

Other than that it's really solid. It feels pretty heavy for it's size and is really comfortable. I might experiment with taking of the clip on some point to make it lay even better in my hand, but overall.. Worth buying!
